Challenge
Being able to upload creatives to ADvendio while maintaining affordable file storage costs or using custom storage.

To offer affordable file storage when using Creative Management in ADvendio we offer to connect to your custom AWS storage.

What you can not see is that the system will upload the creative to your AWS and create a public URL to preview the file and send download the file again when sending it over to AdServers when starting the submit.

Please follow these steps to complete the steps in ADvendio:
Create a new Connection record with the Record Type “AmazonWebServices“ and fill in your API login data as indicated here: https://advendio.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SO/pages/162758663/7.3.1.1+Which+Login+User+do+I+use+to+create+Login+records#External-Storage
Make sure that the OAuth access is granted via any connection record: 1.6 How to authenticate/authorize ADvendio Gateway for the use of our Third Party System integrations? Authorize ADvendio message / OAuth .
Go to Setup > App Launcher > Feature Settings and create a new Feature Setting record with:
Feature Setting Name: EnableExternalUpload
Create a Trusted URL via Setup > Trusted URLs, give it a name and add the URL “https://exchange.advendio.com:8080“. Enable it for all CSP Directives (see image below) and hit Save.
Go to the Ad Creative Templates which you would like to use and change the Ad Creative Variables responsible for the creative to the type “attachmentURL“.
This setting is subject to changeUpdate Configuration of Creative Templates: Please make sure that when using Creative Templates, the variable type is set to ‘externalAttachment’. We’re working on including a solution that does this automatically according to the setting in Administration settings.You are ready to go. Just use your Creative Upload features as usual and notice the small message during upload saying that the upload is running to an External system. Also instead of saving the image file for the Ad Creative, the publicURL will be saved.
