Before starting the deal creation

  1. We need to set up a ‘seamless’ connection

  2. Import via “Transfer to Advendio” the Programmatic Buyers to be able to select them later on in the Media Campaign

    Once imported they need to be mapped to an Account using an external account ID from the Programmatic Buyer import to be able to be selected

Multiple Buyer seats targeting will be available in a future patchAn important structure fact to understand is that Freewheel Deals are only deals with no parents, Advendio’s Media Campaigns and Campaign Items as such won't be submitted

1.- Create a Media Campaign

  • Create a new Media Campaign

    Before starting the process be sure to add the Field Programmatic Buyer if it is missing in your current layout

    • Check that the proper association with a Programmatic Buyer has been done see more details

  • Create a new Media Campaign

  • The most important option for PG is to consider choosing the Adserver Order Type ‘Proposal’ to start creating a Deal in Freewheel

  • Select a Programmatic Buyer if you want all of the Campaign Items to have assigned the programmatic Buyers selected at a Media Campaign level

    • If I have more CI in the same Media Campaign and they don’t have Buyers as targeting then they will preserve the Programmatic buyer from the Media Campaign

  • If you want individual Buyers to be selected on a Campaign Item level they need to be chosen as targeting on each item, and when a CI has one or more buyers selected these will be the buyers assigned and NOT the one selected as Programmatic Buyer in the Media Campaign
