Solution

In order to set up the ADvendio Amazon DSP Connection and smoothly manage media buying activities between ADvendio and Amazon DSP, you should follow these steps.

To begin using the Amazon DSP Pilot integration, you need to create a new record type called "Amazon DSP Pilot". Here are the steps you should follow:

1. Create an Amazon DSP Connection

  • In the ADvendio main menu (App launcher), search for navigate to "Connections".Click on the

  • Select "Connections" tab.Create New" to create a new connection record by selecting "New"Amazon DSP connection.

  • Choose "AMAZONDSP" as the new record type.

  • It will open the "New Connection: AMAZONDSP" window.

  • Enter your username in the required "User Name" field.

  • Use If necessary, provide any additional information in the Description and Access Token fields to add any additional information if necessary.

  • Tick “Active” the "Active" checkbox to activate this connection.

  • Click on the "Save" button.

  • A new connection record for Amazon DSP Pilot will be created.

2- Generate an OAuth token to complete the connection process

To generate an OAuth token, follow these steps:

  • Open the new Connection record you just created

  • In the right upper corner Click “Generate AdServer OAuth Token

Network ID

Defines which Market to use with Amazon DSP. There is a set of predefined choices, by Amazon. Please set a country code, according to the possible values listed here.

For example if you are operating on the US-American market as an agency, you enter ‘US’

If you are planning to operate on multiple markets in Amazon, you will need to create dedicated Connection Records for each one.

4- Data to import from Amazon DSP Pilot

After obtaining the authentication token and establishing a connection with Amazon DSP, we highly recommend using the "Transfer to ADvendio" feature. Importing Amazon DSP Pilot data into ADvendio will allow seamless media advertising and buying activities.

Creating an Amazon connection with a username and generating a token will allow you to log into your Amazon account.

To generate an OAuth token, follow these steps:

  • Open the Amazon DSP Connection record you just created

  • Click "Generate AdServer OAuth Token" in the upper right corner

  • Press “Link to Ad Server”, this will open the ADvendio Connector in order to generate an access token, based on your user credentials:
