Challenge
You are using the ADvendio Equativ integration to push your Media Campaigns and Campaign Items as Insertions to Equativ and are planning to use keyword targeting. How can this be configured in ADvendio?

Solution
For our Equativ integration offers to set Keywords for your Insertions. This can be configured on different levels in ADvendio. You can change this for each of your Campaign Items individually or you can predefine certain keywords in your product configuration. This way they will be used each time an item is submitted automatically from ADvendio, without the users having to set it for each Campaign Item.

Define Keywords for individual Campaign Items
To define your keywords for a Campaign Item, please use the field AdKeyValues Paste in a keyword string according to the format shown later on this wiki page.

Please be aware some older version of ADvendio still use the field AdKeyWords, so if the Keywords from AdKeyValues field are not transferred to Equativ, please try that field instead. With Release 2.154 AdKeyValues should definitively work. |
Preconfigure Keywords on Ad Specs and Ad Types
Additionally to the Campaign Item, you can also predefine your keywords on the Ad Spec and Ad Type object. For this, please use the KeyValues field.
If you set keywords on the Ad Spec or Ad Type, they will be used for each connected Campaign Item. If you additionally define keywords for your Campaign Item, they will be put automatically in an AND relation, with whatever is preconfigured.

As there is no dedicated interface to set your keywords, ADvendio expects them to be written in a certain format, which is in accordance with Equativ.
