We recommend using the Optimizer to track any changes you like to apply to a running Media Campaign, a partially or fully invoiced Media Campaign or a Campaign Item which has been used in finance-relevant processes (such as the Accounting Record Creation Processes). Using the correct Optimizer source will guarantee that your data is valid and consistent, including your financial records.

Change a "running" Campaign

Run-time	Change the "From" or "Until" date of a line item. From date of a started position can't be changed. From date should be before until date. Optimized version created/updated. Quantity	Change the quantity to sell more or less than planned. Amount balance and new Amount is getting calculated and displayed. Optimized version created/updated. Cancel a Line Item	Click on the cancel button of the item to take this out of your media campaign. Optimized version created/updated. Changes on a "running" Package

For a Package with linear or individual distribution all above mentioned changes will be done no matter if components are displayed on PDFs or not.

Changes on an Invoiced Campaign Item or a Campaign Item used in the Accounting Records Creation Processes

For an Item which has been partly or fully invoiced, any optimizing changes, such as changes to discounts, quantities or any other financially relevant information, need to be carried out through an Order Amendment
For an Item which has been used in the Accounting Record Creation processes, any optimizing changes need to be carried out through an Order Amendment
