3.5.5.2 Key AdPrice Assignments

Note: this feature will be discontinued by the end of 2024

You can use these assignments to limit the number of keys and their values for your users and therefore offer them only reasonable keys which match their selected AdPrice.

Please consider before using this that if you are using a single assignment record you will have to assign key values for all your ad prices otherwise the system offers no keys at all.

Use the Wizard to Limit Key Value Selection 

You can limit ad prices to allow only certain key values when editing in the 4.3 Media Configuration. Please use the KeyValue Manager for this which you can find in the App Launcher as a Tab.

Remember that if you are using these assignments any ad price selection in your line item will list ONLY the assigned key values and not the full list anymore.

Steps

  1. To pick the relevant Ad Price in the hierarchy you filter by AdServer Login if you have multiple or select a billing category

  2. Select an AdPrice by opening the correct Site - Placement - AdType - and AdSpec. 

  3. Next, select the allowed key values on the right. 

  4. Click on Save. You will see a confirmation message.

  5. Repeat for your next selection(s) steps 1 - 4

Create Key Ad Price Assignment manually

Go to the Key Ad Price Assignment Object (App Launcher - type Object name) and create a new record by clicking on the NEW button:

Link the AdPrice with your selection of a Key and hit save.
