9.6 How to set up the ad material components for Self Service?

 

For our Self Service we delivered multiple components which can be reused in Flows in order to customize your Self Service as desired.
Below we explain how you can make use of our Ad Material components in the Self Service so that clients can directly upload their files while booking.

Upload creatives while booking

After following the steps described in the article linked here: 9.4 How to set up the Self service components? you will have a basic self-service booking flow for your customers.

In order to also include the Ad Material components in this flow you will need to go to the Setup of your org and look in the Quick Search for “Flows”.

Open your recently created flow and add a new screen component. The screen needs to be added after your Media Campaign and Campaign Items were saved in order to work.

You can decide to either add the Creative Upload step before or after the Invoicing process.

 

The parameters on the right hand side of the component are explained below.

Enter the variable holding the Media Campaign Id of your saved campaign.

Upload/Review creatives after booking

You can also set up the Ad Material Management component outside of flows. To do so please follow the steps below:

  1. Open Setup > All Sites (under Digital Experiences) and select next to your Self Service portal the Builder option.

  2. Click via the Preview option through to the Media Campaign record overview and start to adjust the Media Campaigns Lightning page layout.

    1. Remove the default “Record information tabs” and add the Component tabs below the header.

    2. Create 3 tabs (or a different number depending on your requirements)

    3. The first tab “Details” could contain the record details (for this you can add the component “Record Detail“).

    4. The second tab “Related“ could contain the related lists (for this you can add the component “Record Related List“).

    5. The third tab “Ad Material“ could contain the ad material component (for this you can add the component “Ad Material Management Community“).

  3. To set up the component for Ad Material Management properly you will need to enter the following inputs into the configuration of the component:

  • Having this component or a flow with a Media Campaign lookup is best practice for the use in communities as there is no option to enable the quick action in the Community/Digital Experience and putting the flow on an action button opens it in a modal mode which is not optimal for the experience.

  • Images won’t be shown in the Digital Experience as long no trusted site was created for the respective domain.
