Current Limitations for the ADvendio - AdButler Integration

Inventory Targeting of multiple Zones

Zones in AdButler represent the placement of your ad on a website. Typically these Zones represent a single ad space and creative size.

As with the structure of AdButler, the booking relevant information (like start and end date, the desired number of impressions, and the priority) is defined on a Zone Assignment, where you select a single Zone. If you want to target multiple Zones, you will have to use a Channel. These channels need to be set up in AdButler and can then be imported to ADvendio.

Check Availability

Currently, the API of AdButler only supports availability checks based on Zones. If your ADvendio Campaign Item should include Channels or VAST Zones instead, the Check Availability feature might return an error message similar to this:

This is a limitation by the API of AdButler, please contact your AdButler Account Manager if you are interested in these capabilities.

Geo / Device Targeting

Currently Planned enhancements for the AdButler Integration:

  • Usage of Geo Targets and Platform Targets for Campaign Items

  • Check Availability

  • Creative Upload (currently in our backlog, if you are interested please contact your technical account manager or our customer success team)
