End of Support 2022 for Salesforce Classic Version

What will be changed?

 

With some reasonable notice, we would like to announce that by the end of 2022 support for the Salesforce Classic version will be no longer available.


Why this change is taking place?

 

Salesforce Lightning experience has been published as a new standard to work with Salesforce. The features which work in Lightning might not be fully functional anymore in the Classic version.

The Lightning experience is the latest standard and we want to work based on the newest technology.


When is the deadline for Classic version support?

 

The change will take place at the End of 2022.


What actions do you need to do?

 

  • If you already work in Lightning: there is nothing to consider

  • If you work in the Classic version: we would highly recommend switching to Salesforce Lighting, you can check the steps for transition in 8.8 Activate Lightning


If you decide to continue using Salesforce Classic, please be aware that:

  • some functions and features might not be fully functional

  • we will no longer be able to fix bugs that might appear in the Classic experience from the beginning of 2023
