Challenge

Do you intend to use our generic programmatic import features to streamline your programmatic revenue coming in from any SSP/Exchange/DSP to ADvendio, but before using our API capabilities to automate the processes you want to do some manual tests?

Is there a way to directly upload files to ADvendio, to check the results?

Is there a button where you can manually upload the files into the ADvendio UI, instead of using an API endpoint?

 

Solution

Yes, it is possible to also manually upload your CSV files with the Programmatic Revenue to ADvendio. This can be done by using a button on your connection record.

 

Access your ‘Connection” record in ADvendio and proceed with the button on the top right ‘CSV import process'.

You will see the ‘CSV file uploader’ window pop up with the ‘Upload Files’ option, where you can download your CSV file.

IMPORTANT: The CSV file provided will need to have a certain format:

  • Each field needs to be comma separated

  • Dates are expected in the format: YYYY-MM-DD (2022-06-01)

  • Currency needs to be in ISO format (The US dollar represented as USD, Euro as EUR)

Once the CSV file is uploaded, proceed with the ‘Start process’ button.

When the file upload is successfully done, you will be notified with the message “Process finished' and the job ID displayed.

 


Setup

If you don't see picklist values for ‘CSV import process’ as a field value, you need to look at your Salesforce set-up page and you can manually add this picklist value.
