4.4.8 How to check the availability for my exclusive Inventory (Inventory Forecast)?

Challenge

As a Sales Representative, you need to ensure the availability of Campaign Items within the desired time frame.

Solution

For exclusive inventory in ADvendio, you can check availability by starting an Inventory Forecast job from multiple locations such as the following:

• Media Search

• Media Configuration/Optimizer

• Campaign Builder

• Campaign item Related List

• Self Service/Sales Assistant

• Check Availability/Forecast API

• Flow

Inventory Forecast across ADvendio’s features

Media Search

Open

Media Configuration/Optimizer

You can start the Inventory Forecast on the Check Availability button of the Media Search. The forecast will run for exclusive products but also digital products:

Self Service/Sales Assistant

Flow

You can check the availability using customized screen or record change flows. The screen flow solution also allows performing various actions on the 'Content Availability' screen, including:

• viewing a list of content items and their availability status

• customizing columns by adding custom fields next to the content name

• searching custom fields

• button"Remove Unavailable Contents" allows you to delete all unavailable selected contents from the associated campaign item.

Working with Contents

There are different use cases where you might work with the Content object. Please consider the following if you do so:

As the availability per Content can differ for each Content we will only inform if the requested availability is available or not. For example, if you request a quantity of 2 units for 3 different Contents but only a quantity of 1 is available per Content the API will show you the availability of 0 even if the quantity of 1 would be available.

We added a few convenience features when requesting availability for Contents:

Review available/unavailable Contents

If there are available Contents and unavailable Contents you get a searchable list which you can review to know which Contents will be removed or need to be checked in detail.

Remove unavailable Contents

• When there are unavailable Contents you get the option to remove them from your Campaign Item with the click of a button.
