[Programmatic Buyer] How to define which one is available for which Advertiser and select them in a Media Campaign in GAM (Programmatic Buyer Selection Flow)

When planning your Programmatic Guaranteed or Preferred Deal Campaigns from ADvendio, we offer ways to select, which programmatic buyer will be used and also sent to Google AdManager. Additionally, using our Lightning Flow Extension, you can set up, which Programmatic Buyers are applicable for which of your Advertiser Accounts.

 

  1. Create an Account for your Programmatic Buyer. ADvendio uses Salesforce Accounts as Advertisers, Agencies or Programmatic Buyers. If you create the Account with the same name as the Programmatic Buyer has in Google AdManager, our integration logic can automatically connect it to the right entity, otherwise you can also manually set up the mapping.

  2. Set up the Lightning Flow extension, in order to use the enhancements for Programmatic Buyers: https://advendio.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SO/pages/3443490817

  3. Open your Advertisers Account and go to the related list ‘Assigned Programmatic Buyers’. Click the new button, to create a new relation. Your Admin might need to set this up in your Salesforce Account Page Layout.

  4. Select the Programmatic Buyer account which you want to connect to your Advertiser. Repeat this step for each desired assignment.

  5. Now when creating a New Media Campaign, you can use our Programmatic Buyer Selection, in order to select the applicable Programmatic Buyer. Depending on how the flow is set up in your environment, this can be a button or a part of your Media Campaign Layout.

  6. If your Advertiser has no assigned Buyers Or you don’t have an advertiser selected, you are still free to choose from the Accounts of your Salesforce Org a Programmatic Buyer.

  7. After you've chosen your Programmatic Buyer, click the Next button and it will update your Media Campaign.
