Ad Specs & Rates Manager

Changes and optimisation

We fixed an issue in the Ad Specs & Rates Manager where help texts did not disappear after hovering over the information icons.

Media Configuration

Changes and optimisation

We fixed an issue where Audience Segment Values were shown in the quick selection mode of the Media Configuration, although they were hidden by the setup.

Improvements

We included the KeyValue/AudienceSegment Targeting components to be used in the Media Configuration. Especially when working with freetext KeyValues this will be a valuable enhancement to the targeting selection. This can be enabled by an Administration setting.

Booking Calendar LWC

Improvements

Improvements that were added to the Booking Calendar:

  • We added a new user setting to our Booking Calendar Lightning which enables the Booking Calendar to work properly with private Salesforce sharing settings for the Media Campaign object

  • We enabled the Inventory columns to be static while scrolling horizontally

  • Improved Week Starting Day Handling to allow more flexibility when setting the starting day of a weekly booking.

Changes and Optimizations

We also fixed the following issues in the Booking Calendar:

  • Status filters were not working consistently

  • Content filter was always shown

Campaign Builder

New Feature

The Campaign Builder supports a configuration of Targeting Settings now. This means that it can be defined which targeting categories can be shown in the Campaign Builder targeting selection.

Improvements

We added the following enhancements to the Campaign Builder:

  • Made improvements in order to make performance better

  • Enhanced Custom Decimal Places handling

  • Added support of more Field Types including Lookups, URLs, Hyperlink formulas

  • Custom Javascript capabilities were enhanced to allow to set fields as required, hidden or read-only

  • Automatic Field Prefilling option activated: when the necessary information is automatically taken from the basket and prefilled with the following: from/until dates, publication dates, contents, and targeting groups

  • Improved Copy Item functionality

  • Updated Copy/Split Button logic for Commitments

  • Simplified Basket Item Loading: when basket items are now loaded in order of how they were added to the basket

  • The publication date selection supports the Inventory Forecast availability mode

  • We enhanced the error handling in our Inventory Forecast availability checks.

  • We added a Daytime Targeting separator line between weekdays and times for certain languages.

Changes and optimisation

We fixed the following issues in the Campaign Builder:

  • Selection of Key Value presets is now fixed and functions correctly, even with invalid KeyValue preset records

  • Event Trigger for Availability Fields error: it now triggers an event when availability fields are changed

  • The amount calculation now updates correctly after values are copied

  • Failing Availability Check issue when some fields were not part of the setup and caused the availability check to fail is now fixed

  • You can successfully save items after running the availability check

Creative Upload

Changes and optimisation

We fixed handling in our Creative upload component when it was not accessible due to missing permissions.

New Feature

We now support opening external systems User Interfaces from ADvendio to do more advanced settings in external systems.

Media Integration API

New Feature

We added support for hybrid integrations to make gateway jobs configurable by letting you choose between our standard integrations or your own custom integrations for each job.

Package Manager

Changes and optimisation

We enhanced the Save Button in our Package Manager to be disabled after hitting it once to avoid duplicated data.

Sales Assistant in Self Service

Changes and optimisation

We fixed an issue where the Inventory Forecast failed in Self Service causing the Result list component not to work anymore.

Targeting Sets

Improvement

We added enhanced handling in the User Interface for Contents being part of Targeting Sets.

 MEDIA BUYING

 

 

Media Buying

New Features

We have created following New features for Media Buying:

  1. Submit Multiple Buying Orders

  2. "Budget" invoiced on actual spend - limited - when advertisers can set a predefined budget limit for the media buying campaigns but still invoice on actual media spend limited to budget

  3. "Budget" invoiced on actual spend - unlimited - campaign can run on the set budget not being limited by it

  4. Enhanced Targeting:

    1. Implemented Targeting component for Buying

    2. Adjusted Buying Order creation component for Targeting

We developed a user-friendly, light version of the targeting tool that simplifies the process of selecting important targeting options, including location, inventory, and audience. The component seamlessly integrates with the media buying workflow, making it easy for you to efficiently set the targeting preferences.

 

Improvement

 

We have made following Improvements for Media Buying:

  1. Created New Invoice Item Field "Unlimited Invoice Amount"

  2. Implemented a Buying Status Sync feature which enables to import the status of the Media Buying Orders and Items from the External Platform into Advendio in real-time or at the scheduled time.

  3. Enhanced Option for Mass Copy for Buying Items and Buying Orders - which allows to copy multiple buying items and orders all at once

  4. Enabled Support for All Field Types in Buying Configuration Feature

  5. Enhanced Buying configuration error message for these to be more precise

  6. We have included a new search feature in the Field Selection of the Buying Configuration

We have fixed an issue when VAT/DST was calculated incorrectly after Invoice Cancelation on the Invoice item record level

We added various general improvements to our ADvendio Gateway and the API for Third Party Integrations:

  • Improved error handling, which now properly shows error messages returned by the Salesforce APIs during communication of our Gateway with your Salesforce Org

  • Improvements to our internal service structure, which allow us to release new services faster

  • New ID Import Types for custom integrations

Media Buying Integrations

New Feature

For our Media Buying module, we have introduced the new status update feature. It allows you to import the current status of all your Buying Items in DSPs, Social Media and other external Media Buying Platforms! You will be updated with a real-time performance in ADvendio, you will see how your campaigns are currently doing and use our convenient flow to keep this information up to date.
For the inital release, status updates will be supported for the following integrations:

  • Xandr Invest

  • Google Campaign Manager

  • Google Display & Video 360

 

New Feature

We improved a Media Buying feature to submit multiple Buying Orders to one or more external Buying Platforms, also with the possibility of submitting a selection of the related Buying Items

Enhanced Delivery Data

We fixed problems with the usage of custom delivery metrics in our Enhanced Delivery Reports.

AdButler Integration

Changes and optimisation

We included various improvements for our AdButler Integration including:

  • Fixed problems in the availability check, if the Campaign Item start date is set to today

  • Added the possibility to submit Campaign Items into AdButler without setting a Quota

  • Improved our error handling, when there are problems with the selected advertiser

Xandr Integration

Improvement

The Creative Upload for Xandr now supports to upload Tag and Code based creatives from ADvendio.

Adswizz Integration

Changes and optimisation

We made the following improvements to our Adswizz integration:

  • We improved our internal handling of Campaign Start and End dates, to allow a more seamless update of existing campaigns from ADvendio to prolong the runtime

  • Error messages of one Campaign Item are not duplicated anymore and also are shown for other Campaign Items

Broadsign Integration

New Feature

We are now supporting a seamless and automated status import for your Broadsign bookings. Check your latest campaign status for upcoming and running Broadsign Campaign Items, to have the full overview in ADvendio.

Google AdManager Integration

Improvement

We have made the following improvements to our Google Ad Manager Integration:

  • ADvendio now uses the newest API Google AdManger API v202305

  • We improved our error handling for Google Ad Manager Custom Fields

  • We improved our handling of the Creative Upload for Google Ad Manager Integration, which helps to avoid 'duplicate upload' error messages

We have Improved messaging for Google Ad Manager issue based on invalid Custom Field mapping during Submit to AdServer.

Google Display & Video 360 Integration

Improvement

Our Google DV360 Integration is now using the DV360 API v.2 and the Bid Manager API v.2 in order for our features to support the most up to date services and technologies.

Equativ integration

Improvement

We unified Smart AdServer, DynAdmic and LiquidM since they have been strategically consolidated under a new brand called Equativ

Pinterest Integration

New Feature

With the release of the Light Integration for Pinterest you can see that our supported Social Media Integrations for Media Buying are growing and you can perform the following steps with Pinterest:

  • To add Pinterest Bookings to your ADvendio Campaigns to offer your advertisers unique multi-platform media buying services

  • Plan and manage your Pinterest Campaigns directly from ADvendio

  • Use our Submit feature to seamlessly bring the basic campaign data to Pinterest at the push of a button

  • Get updates on the latest information about performance and cost with our automatic reporting

The Trade Desk Integration

New Feature

We are proud to announce our newest DSP integration for our Media Buying: The Trade Desk. With our new Light Integration for the Trade Desk, you are able to perform the following:

  • To use ADvendios media buying capabilities and seamlessly plan your Trade Desk Campaigns

  • To submit basic campaign data directly into the platform

  • To use our automatic reporting features

  • To sync back key metrics for performance reporting and use in our finance features

Triton Integration

We applied the following fixes to our Triton Integration:

  • We fixed problems with Submitting multiple Campaign Items at the same time to Triton

  • We fixed an issue with the Triton Sitebased Delivery Reports, which were causing data not to be imported properly

Xandr Invest Integration

Improvement

For our Xandr Invest Media Buying integration, we are now allowing to define the supply strategy for your Buying Items.

Legacy Integrations

Improvement

In order to prepare for the deprecation of unused Integrations from ADvendio Connections we have:

  • Removed unused logic of the legacy DART integration

  • Removed unused logic of the legacy Yieldlab Integration

  • Removed parts of the old Key Value import for Google AdManager

Media Integration API

Improvement

For our Media Integration API, we are happy to announce following improvements:

  • We added a new Service for Media Buying Status Updates, this allows you to also create custom integrations for our new status import feature

  3. Users were unable to see publication dates in the Campaign Builder availability mode due to a missing method, but this issue has been resolved.

  4. The "Copy Value" action was not functioning correctly for Picklist (Multi-Select) fields in the Campaign Builder, causing a console error which has been fixed.

  5. Updating only the "until" date in the Campaign Builder was not saving after editing, requiring both "from" and "until" dates to be edited together for the changes to register and save correctly which has been resolved.

Changes and optimizations

We fixed the following issues in the Campaign Builder:

  1. a visual bugs in the Campaign Builder, including a cut multipicklist, hidden issues associated with custom fields like Targeting and Availability, and the partial overlap of the Availability field with the Billing Category column after switching tabs

  2. an issue where the Special Discount amount was flashed and then disappear when a Target Net was set on a prorated package with a specified ratio

  3. a bug involving the inability to see the full screen when checking availability from the Campaign Builder when campaign item and media campaign names were long

  4. an issue where "Amounts" did not correctly reflect the Budget N2 when the Agency Commission (AC) was applied

  5. a problem when adding a custom picklist has caused flickering upon the initial click.
