4.8.7 How Time Zones for Media Campaigns / Campaign Items are submitted to external systems.

When managing your ADvendio Campaigns, it might be relevant which time zone is used for booking. This could for example apply if you are operating within different time zones and want to take this information into account while booking into a third party platform, like an AdServer.

An ADvendio Media Campaign is considered to be in the time zone of the Media Campaign Owner. Meaning, we are using the timezone information, related to the Salesforce User, who is Media Campaign Owner.

Additionally, you are able to manually overwrite this information, by using the time zone field on the Campaign Item. By default, this field is empty and we consider the Media Campaign Owner.

This time zone, will then be used for submitting Media Campaigns and Campaign Items to the target AdServer.

You can also see, in the result email received after successfully submitting, which time zone was included:

Depending on the Integration, the time zone settings have different effects on your booking. Some AdServers require to set a time zone for the order, if so we will include this in our submit.

Other AdServers might require a fixed time zone format. The ADvendio integration will then calculate the time difference and set the Date and Time information according to your desired settings in ADvendio.

E.g. Aug. 5th 00:00 CEST will equal Aug. 4th 22:00 UTC
