Overview

When submitting an item to the ad server or checking availability, customers may encounter the error message:

No AdServerIds (AdUnit / Placement) connected to this campaignItem!

Cause

This error is typically caused by a missing connection ID to the AdSpec with the type "Ad unit."

Solution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the AdSpec is correctly linked with the appropriate Connection ID. Follow these steps:

  1. Verify the AdSpec Configuration: Check the AdSpec associated with the campaign item to ensure it includes the correct Connection ID with type Ad unit.

  2. Add the Missing Connection ID: If the connection ID is missing, add to the AdSpec.
