Account Feature Setting

With version 2.178 and onwards, ADvendio now provides an improved Account Lookup filter for easier selection of the correct accounts even when multiple accounts share the same name. A second custom field can now be displayed beneath the Account Name, helping users distinguish between similar entries.

This feature is available in:

• 🧾 Invoice Wizard

• 📤 Pre-Invoice Generation Wizard

• Debtor Change Functionality

This functionality was already available in Media Search as Standard Salesforce functionality. It is now extended to billing workflows for a consistent user experience.

What’s New?

• A second custom field is shown below the Account Name in lookup filters during invoicing steps.

• Helps users distinguish accounts with the same name (e.g., using Account Number or Advertiser Name).

• Display is controlled via Feature Settings — no changes required on the UI.

Where You’ll See It

You will see the enhanced Account Lookup field:

• When filtering by Account in Invoice Wizard (New)

• When filtering by Account in Pre-Invoice Generation

• When Selecting Account in Debtor Change Functionality

Configuration

To enable the display of a second field:

1. Go to:
   App Launcher → Feature Settings

2. Create or Update a New Entry:

3. Save the setting.

Only one secondary field can be displayed per lookup.
If no field is configured or the field is invalid/missing, the default behavior (Account Name only) will apply

What to Expect

Limitations

• Only one additional field can be configured.

• This enhancement does not apply to:

  • Old Invoice Wizards

  • Other record detail views

• The additional field is only used in lookup filters, not in other components or views.
