4.2.5.2 Placement Type (FreeWheel)

The Placement Type in FreeWheel is used to classify ads for reporting purposes. You can choose the Placement Type at our new field (version 2.104 and up) at the Campaign Item object.
The value will be transferred to FreeWheel when submitting the campaign.

There are three types to be differentiated:

  • Normal,

  • Make Good, and

  • Promo.

Normal

This is the default type. It is used to identify Campaign Items (Placement in FreeWheel) that are paid and will generate revenue.

Make Good

This type is used for Campaign Items which represent an agreement with the advertiser to supplement a previous under-delivery that may be a result of an error or miscommunication.

Promo

Select the type Promo for Campaign Items which represent either house or self-promoting ads.
