4.2.1.4 Advertised Brands (FreeWheel)

In order to link Brands to your Media Campaigns or Campaign Items you need to create a lookup from Advertised Brands to your Brands AdServer IDs. Read here how 2.1.4.1 Advertised Brands / Products.

Version 2.106 and up

Use Case:

Your Advertiser has many active Brands, which get pushed to Freewheel. But you can overwrite this by only selecting a Brand for your Media Campaign (Insertion Order). Additionally you can define an exclusion of brands at the Campaign Item (Placement) level. The ad server will honor the setting and exclude ads that belong to that brand.

Open your Media Campaign and select the Advertised Brand:

Info

Remember that Brands can only be pushed on Media Campaign level, but Brand Exclusions on Line item. This is a FreeWheel limitation.
