7.2.2.8 Configure Action Buttons Clone/Split

You can now configure which fields are to be reset to null/empty when cloning/splitting Campaign Items in the Media Configuration. Navigate to App Launcher → Feature Settings and create or modify the following records:

For cloning Campaign Items:

  1. Feature Name = MediaConfiguration

  2. Feature Setting Name = CampaignItemActionCopyAvoidClone

  3. TemplateName

  4. Value: A semicolon-separated list of field names, as per the table below (for items not in table use field names with ADvendio Prefix)

For splitting Campaign Items:

  1. Feature Name = MediaConfiguration

  2. Feature Setting Name = CampaignItemActionSplitAvoidClone

  3. TemplateName:

  4. Value: A semicolon-separated list of field names, as per the table below (for items not in table use field names with ADvendio Prefix)

Caution should be exercised when adding values to these Feature Settings. Certain fields should never be set to null, such as Sales Price.
