Challenge
Are you looking forward to setting up the Amazon DSP Pilot integration? With this setup, you can receive reporting data from your Advertising Campaigns directly into ADvendio. This will enable you to keep track of your budget spend and easily incorporate this information into ADvendio's invoicing system.
Solution
In order to set up the ADvendio Amazon DSP Connection and smoothly manage media buying activities between ADvendio and Amazon DSP, you should follow these steps.
To begin using the Amazon DSP Pilot integration, you need to create a new record type called "Amazon DSP". Here are the steps you should follow:
1. Create an Amazon DSP Connection
In the ADvendio main menu (App launcher), navigate to "Connections"
Select "New" to create a new Amazon DSP connection.
Choose "AMAZONDSP" as the new record type.
It will open the "New Connection: AMAZONDSP" window.
Enter your username in the "User Name" field.
If necessary, provide any additional information in the Description and Access Token fields
Tick the "Active" checkbox to activate this connection.
Click on the "Save" button.
A new connection record for Amazon DSP Pilot will be created.

Possible field values and explanation when creating an Amazon DSP Pilot connection:

2. Amazon Check Login / Authentication
Creating an Amazon connection with a username and generating a token will allow you to log into your Amazon account.

To generate an OAuth token, follow these steps:
Open the Amazon DSP Connection record you just created
Click "Generate AdServer OAuth Token" in the upper right corner
Enter your username and press Submit
Press “Link to Ad Server”, this will open the ADvendio Connector in order to generate an access token, based on your user credentials:
Log into Amazon, and Copy the token authorization code provided
Paste your Amazon OAuth token code from authorisation and paste it to the ADvendio Authorisation Code field
Press Submit.
