You

Basic commitment:

With the basic commitment, you can apply only one commitment per type (Advertiser/Agency Discount, Agency Earning and Third Party Commission) that can match a Media Campaign and only one commitment condition can apply to a line item.

Advance commitment:

With the advanced commitment features, you can apply multiple conditions to a single Campaign item. When Media Campaigns and Campaign Items move from one period to another, they may overlap multiple contracts. Therefore, Media Campaigns must be able to match all similar commitments with the same hierarchy, and all applicable conditions must be proportionally applied to Campaign Items based on the time they spend in each commitment period.

You can see different Commitments types available in more detail in Wiki Knowledge : Base 4.16.8 Commitment Condition Use Cases and check for the following use cases: Rebate in Kind, Scaled Discount, Special Discount, Agency Earning and Third Party Commission.
