How do you set up the connection to Linkedin in ADvendio?
In order to start using the ADvendio Linkedin Integration, you will need to set up a new record of the Linkedin connection in ADvendiotype “LinkedIn”. Please, follow the steps below:
In the main Advendio ADvendio menu type “Connections”“AdServer Interface”
Click on the “Connections“ tab
Create a new connection record by selecting the option “New”
Select “Linkedin” as a new record type

A screen window “New connection: LINKEDIN” will open, enter data in the field “User Name” (mandatory) and fill in all the rest information (if necessary), and press Save. It will create a new connection.

Open the new Connection record you just created
In the right upper corner Click “Generate AdServer “Create OAuth Token”

After your Linkedin username a modal pops up, click Submit
Under “Generate Authorization Code you will see “Link to Ad Server”
Log the button “Link to Third Party Platform“
A new tab opens, log into Linkedin, accept the authentication as shown in the screenshot below
Copy the token authorization code and paste it into the ADvendio field on the modal from the start

Data to import from Linkedin
Once authentification the authentication token is obtained and the Linkedin Connection is established for the , as a next step we would strongly recommend importing using the Transfer to ADvendio feature to import Linkedin data into ADvendio for smooth media advertising and buying activities.

By importing using this data feature you can decide which Linkedin information to use in ADvendio features and which to leave out.select the information you want to import in ADvendio
