Challenge

Can you hold inventory for your Broadsign Campaigns you’ve planned in ADvendio and later also set them live?

Solution

You can use our feature called Update Ad-Status in AdServer to resolve this challenge and to get more flexibility in managing your Broadsign Campaigns within ADvendio.

By default, when Items are pushed to Broadsign, they are in the saved or draft status. This means they are not actively running or booked yet, and allow you to make further changes or adjustments before finalizing and activating them.

You'll find three options to choose from:

  • Active: When a Proposal Item is marked as "Active," it means it is booked in Broadsign, and the assigned Screens are reserved and actively running.

  • Paused: If a Proposal Item is "Paused," it temporarily removes the reserved status and brings it back to its previous draft state.

  • Reserved: When a Proposal Item is "Reserved," it has the status of being on hold, and the assigned Screens are reserved and blocked for other bookings.

Reserved

There is a predefined flow of actions in the system that you can take with your items:

For a Paused item, you have the option to set it as active or reserved.

For a Reserved item, you can choose to set it as paused or active.

Once an item is set as Active, its status cannot be changed anymore.
