What will be changed and why?
A small change needs to be made to our ADvendio License module due to a Salesforce Update. This change is related to the Service we use to perform regular License updates in your instance.
What actions do you need to take and when?
We would like to inform our customers of an important update. To ensure the smooth operation of ADvendio, we kindly request that all customers upgrade to one of the versions listed below before June 30th 2023. We highly recommend taking the necessary actions as soon as possible to prevent any potential downtime in your ADvendio instance.
Supported versions:
If your version is 2.162.13 or higher, 2.163.4 or higher, or 2.164.1 or higher, you need to update your settings immediately.
Simply follow the steps below to complete the update.
However, if you have version 2.165 or higher, there is no need for further action.
Steps to update your settings:
Please update your settings for patch versions 2.162.13+, 2.163.4+, and 2.164.1+ with the steps below, or the License sync will fail.
Here are the steps and settings in the table that need to be updated for the versions mentioned above:
Go to Setup ⚙️
In the Setup search for “Remote Site Settings” in the Quick Find box on the left
Open “Remote Site Settings”
Hit the button “New Remote Site“
Enter the following details:

6. Hit Save.
When the Remote Site was created you successfully performed the necessary action so that the License Check can perform successfully again via the scheduled job or via manual user interaction.
If you install an ADvendio version 2.165 and above nothing needs to be done. Please make sure to accept installing all remote site settings on the installation screen (see screenshot below).
You might need to restart the license check manually after upgrading:
Go to the App Launcher and select the Overview Tab.
Under the section Setup & Setting you will find the setting to update your feature licenses.
After you select this option you will see the following message at the top of the page:
Success
The licences have been successfully synchronized.
