Version 2.112 and up

You can set up the Accounting Interface by the following steps:

  1. Create your Accounting Rules while you adhere to the Accounting Interface Matching & Transfer Fieldlist
  2. Create your Accounting Periods and assign them to your invoices


This will you allow to automatically create accountig records based on your accounting rules by scheduled job for all invoice items which have not been processed yet.

If you are upgrading from older versions (< 2.95) make sure to carry out the following steps before using Accounting Record Creation:

  • The picklist "Transaction Type" needs to be enabled in the following three objects. Assign the picklist values to the correct record types, make sure that field level security is set for the fields.
    • Media Campaign,
    • Invoice, and
    • Accounting Record 
  • In the object Accounting Record please delete the field InvoiceItem__c, else Accounting Record Creation results in error.
  • In the object Accounting Record the picklist TypeOfReceipt__c needs to contain the following values:
    • Invoice
    • Cancellation
    • CreditNote
    • CreditNoteCancellation
  • Connect the correct layouts to matching Accounting Rules + Records for further reference read the Accounting Interface Matching & Transfer Fieldlist.
  • Make sure all record types are activated in used profiles
