Context

  • Enhance our Xandr Integration for vCPM, CPC and CPCv based bookings to can work with guaranteed outcomes instead of impressions, this way users in ADvendio can set up Campaigns based on a target number of viewable impressions; clicks, or completed views and book these settings directly to Xandr. Creating a more seamless transition of the data between the two systems and less effort adjusting bookings manually in Xandr.



1. When setting Outcomes on an ALI (Augmented Line Item) Campaign Item

First, you need to set up

the following specifics:

  1. On the AdType:

    1. Product Type → Video

    2. AdType → Augmented (ALI)

    3. Plus the necessary extra fields you required

  2. Set up your On the Adspec:

    1. Create an AdPrice indicating your Billing category of choice

      1. The following billing categories are accepted in Ad Price or Campaign Item Level

        1. CPM = Impressions

        2. vCPM = Viewable Impressions

        3. CPCv = completed video views

      2. The “quantity” of each billing category is selected also at a Campaign Item Level

  3. Select Budget Type on one of the Budget Types for your Media Campaign and Delivery Type Campaign Item(s)

    1. Revenue (Fixed Revenue in Xandr)

    2. Impression (Fixed Revenue in Xandr)

    3. Flexible (Flexible Revenue in Xandr)

  4. Select one of the Delivery Types for your Campaign Item(s)

  5. The Media Campaign Budget Type needs ‘Budget Type’ and ‘Campaign Item 'Delivery Type’ need to go in accord with the Billing category selected in the AdPrice

    1. Revenue or Impression only works with:

      1. CPM

      2. vCPM (Viewable CPM)

      3. CPCv

    2. Flexible works with:

      1. Dynamic CPM

      2. Cost Plus

  6. The desired Outcomes are properly configured, if everything else is done the Items must be submitted to Xandr
