Previously in the Media Buying module, you entered the names of your orders and items via the salesforce default Buying Order Name and Buying Item Name fields. This has the a limitation of 80 characters, due to platform restrictions.
Introducing with On ADvendio Summer 2024 (Patch Version 2.170.15 & 2.171.7), we’ve added an alternative approach, so that you can manage and traffick traffic names which that are longer to your external Media Buying Platforms.
Your internal Naming Convention for bookings might require a certain length or format, which is not possible with the Salesforce Standard fields. In order to To allow you to use up to 255 characters, you are able to can use a new field on Buying Order and Buying Item

If the field is empty, our integration will fall back to the default Buying Order Name or Buying Item Name

Please note, that in order to use the new field, you will need to add it to your Buying Configuration, so it will be shown in the Layouts. The External Reference No. field will not be filled automatically, however you can use Salesforce Flows to fill it’s value with reference to any other desired field or formula. |
