Challenge
To streamline sales processes and When using Broadsign, one of the main challenges is to properly set up pre-configurations that allow Sales Reps and Order Managers to easily choose products select the appropriate Ad Specs for their Campaign Items. Certain pre-configurations need to be done to contain the right settings to send over to an external system like an AdServer.Usually, those products are Ad Specs, it consists of Ad Specs typically include the medium/site where an ad is running the ad will be displayed and the specific format (ad type).The Ad Type will contain numerous Ad Type) that will be used. However, creating Ad Types that have all the necessary technical and format settings , which will be sent automatically to an external system together with the Campaign Item in Broadsign.

Create a new Broadsign Ad Type

Look for "Ad Types" feature and select it

The API Key to your Broadsign network
To get the API key for Broadsign, you will need to log into your Broadsign network (https://admin.adbutler.com/) and navigate to Settings → API
Simply copy the relevant API Key, if there is no Key existing, you will need to create a new one.
Check your connection is working
Once you’re done, you can check in ADvendio, if the entered credentials are working. To do so, simply click the button ‘Check Login’ on your connection record. A new window will open, showing you if the authentication was successful.
