Buying Item
Once you have created a Buying Order, you can proceed to configure individual Buying Items, which correspond to The Trade Desk AdGroups+Flights. These Buying Items allow you to manage your programmatic media spend by setting up details such as bidding strategy, goals, and automatic optimizations. You have the flexibility to create as many Buying Items as needed for your Buying Order.
⚠️ Limitation
However, it's essential to be aware of the following limitations:
Each Buying Item represents an AdGroup + Flight combination
Multiple Flights within a Buying Item cannot overlap with each other. This means you have two options:
Create multiple Buying Items within one Buying Order, all having the same time frame OR
You need to ensure that the dates of all Buying Items in the Buying Order do not overlap with each other
