ADvendio Preview Version 2.168 - Summer 2023

At ADvendio, we are always making improvements to our software to make your experience even better. To help you stay up-to-date and not miss out on any new features, we've created a page where you can check out the latest updates. Make sure to visit this page regularly if you want to use the newest features and keep your system running smoothly.

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance ADvendio, this also means certain features will be removed or replaced, please regularly review our Deprecation Schedule periodically to see if any upcoming changes that may affect your usage of ADvendio, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest developments.

Note: Depreciations of Features and Integrations

Starting from September 2023 and continuing into 2024, ADvendio will be gradually removing certain features and integrations that are not widely used to improve the functionality and user experience of our platform. See more info on ADvendio 2023/24 Integrations and Features Deprecation Schedule

Important Reminder:

Starting from July 2023 ADvendio has switched to a tri-annual release cycle for major releases, with the next major release taking place in November. You can find more details in the article Change in Release Schedule from July 2023

Please be aware the naming of ADvendio modules has changed: AMS are now called Campaigns, Connect is called Connections.

Please ensure that you are not logged into a salesforce org where you don't wish to install ADvendio! We recommend that you either use an incognito window of your browser or use a different browser altogether to install new versions.

Attention: As we work towards enhancing ADvendio, please check our Deprecation Schedule frequently to see if any of the features have been removed or replaced.

AdSpecs & Rates Manager	Changes and optimisation	We fixed an issue in the Ad Specs & Rates Manager where help texts did not disappear after hovering over the information icons.
Audience Segments	Changes and optimisation	We fixed an issue where Audience Segment Values were shown in the quick selection mode of the Media Configuration, although they were hidden by the setup.
Booking Calendar LWC	Improvements, Changes and Optimizations	Improvements that were added to the Booking Calendar: We added a new user setting to our Booking Calendar Lightning which enables the Booking Calendar to work properly with private Salesforce sharing settings for the Media Campaign object. We enabled the Inventory columns to be static while scrolling horizontally. Better handling of week starting days
	Changes and Optimizations	We also fixed the following issues in the Booking Calendar: Status filters were not working consistently Content filter was always shown
Campaign Builder	Improvement	We added the following enhancements to the Campaign Builder: Performance improvements Handling of custom Decimal places Enablement of more field types (Lookups, URLs, Hyperlink formulas) more custom javascript capabilites (setting fields to required, hidden or read only) prefilling fields from basket information (from/until dates, publication dates, contents, targeting groups) enhanced copy item action basket items are now loaded in order how they were added to the basket the publication date selection support the Inventory Forecast availability mode as well now
Campaign Builder	Changes and optimisation	We fixed the following issues in the Campaign Builder: The Key Value preset selection broke with invalid KeyValue preset records an event is triggered availability fields are changed to react on it After copying values the amount calculation needs to be updated failing avaialbility check when certain fields were not part of the setup not being able to save after checking Availability for many items
Campaign Builder	New Feature	The Campaign Builder supports a configuration of targeting settings now. This means that it can be defined which targeting categories can be shown in the Campaign Builder targeting selection.
Creative Upload	Changes and optimisation	We fixed handling in our Creative upload component when it was not accessible due to missing permissions.
DayTimeTargeting	Changes and optimisation	We added a Daytime Targeting separator line between weekdays and times for certain languages.
Integration / Broadsign	Improvement	We now support to open external systems UIs from ADvendio to do more advanced settings in external systems.
Inventory Forecast	New Feature	We enhanced the error handling in our Inventory Forecast availability checks.
Key Values, Media Configuration	Improvement	We included the KeyValue/AudienceSegment Targeting components to be used in the Media Configuration now. Especially when working with freetext KeyValues this will be a valuable enhancements to the targeting selection. This can be enabled by an Admin setting.
Media Integration API	New Feature	We added support for hybrid integrations to make gateway jobs configurable by letting our customers choose between our standard integrations or their own custom integrations for each job.
Package Manager	Changes and optimisation	We enhanced the Save Button in our Package Manager to be disabled after hitting it once to avoid duplicated data.
SelfService / Sales Assistant	Changes and optimisation	We fixed an issue where the Inventory forecast failed in Self Service causing the Result list component not to work anymore.
Targeting Sets	Improvement	We added enhanced handling in the UI for Contents being part of Targeting Sets.

Buying Update Status (import)	New Feature	For our Media Buying module, we introduce the new status update feature. It allows you to import the current status of all your Buying Items in DSPs, Social Media and other external Media Buying Platforms! Immediately see in ADvendio, how your campaigns are currently doing and use our convenient flow to keep this information up to date! For the inital release, status update will be supported for the following integrations: Xandr Invest Google Campaign Manager Google Display & Video 360
Enhanced Delivery Data	Changes and optimisation	We fixed problems with the usage of custom delivery metrics in our Enhanced Delivery Reports.
Integration / AdButler,	Changes and optimisation	We included various improvements for our AdButler Integration including: Fixed problems in the availability check, if the Campaign Item start date is set to today Added the possibility to submit Campaign Items into AdButler without setting a Quota Improved our error handling, when there are problems with the selected advertiser
Integration / Xandr, Creative Upload	Improvement	The Creative Upload for Xandr now also supports to upload Tag and Code based creatives from ADvendio.
Integration / Adswizz	Changes and optimisation	We made the following improvements to our Adswizz integration: We improved our internal handling of Campaign Start and End dates, to allow a more seamless update of existing campaigns from ADvendio (e.g. to prolong the runtime) Error messages of one Campaign Item are not duplicated anymore and also shown for other Campaign Items
Integration / Broadsign, Update Status (import)	New Feature	We're now supporting a seamless and automated status import for your Broadsign bookings. Always see your latest campaign status for upcoming and running Broadsign Campaign Items, to have the full overview in ADvendio.
Integration / Google AdManager, Creative Upload	Improvement	We improved our Google AdManager Integration: ADvendio now uses the newest API Google AdManger API v202305 We improved our error handling for GAM Custom Fields We improved our handling of the Creative Upload for our Google AdManager Integration, which helps to avoid 'duplicate upload' error messages

Integration / Google Display & Video 360	Improvement	Our Google DV360 Integration is now using the DV360 API v.2 & the Bid Manager API v.2 in order for our features to support the most up to date services and technologies.
Integration / Pinterest	New Feature	Our supported Social Media Integrations for Media Buying are growing! We're now releasing the Light Integration for Pinterest. This allows you to add Pinterest Bookings to your ADvendio Campaigns to offer your advertisers unique multi platform media buying services. Plan and manage your Pinterest Campaigns directly from ADvendio, use our Submit feature to seamlessly bring the basic campaign data to Pinterest at the push of a button! Our automatic reporting will update you with the latest information about performance and cost.
Integration / The Trade Desk	New Feature	We're proud to announce our newest DSP integration for our Media Buying: The Trade Desk. With our new Light Integration for the Trade Desk, our users are able to use ADvendios media buying capabilities, to seamlessly plan their Trade Desk Campaigns, submit basic campaign data directly into the platform and use our automatic reporting features, to sync back key metrics for performance reporting and use in our finance features!
Integration / Triton, Sitebased Delivery Report	Changes and optimisation	We applied the following fixes to our Triton Integration: We fixed problems with Submitting multiple Campaign Items at the same time to Triton We fixed an issue with the Triton Sitebased Delivery Reports, which were causing data not to be imported properly
Integration / Xandr, Submit Buying Order	Improvement	For our Xandr Invest Media Buying integration, we're now allowing to define the supply strategy four your Buying Items.
Legacy / Connect	Improvement	In order to prepare for the deprecation of unused Integrations from ADvendio Connections we have: Removed unused logic of the legacy DART integration Removed unused logic of the legacy Yieldlab Integration Removed parts of the old Key Value import for Google AdManager
Media Buying	New Feature	We improved a Media Buying feature to submit multiple Buying Orders to one or more external Buying Platforms, also with the possibility of submitting a selection of the related Buying Items
Media Integration API	Improvement	For our Media Integration API, we're happy to announce following improvements: We added a new Service for Media Buying Status Updates, this allows you to also create custom integrations for our new status import feature! We enhanced our Media Buying API model, with new fields and settings, allowing you more flexibility in building your own custom integrations.
