Attention Appnexus Xandr Customers Our current device targeting also offers the selection of device manufacturers. This is not possible in AppnexusXandr. When trying to submit a device manufacturer as targeting to AppnexusXandr, you will receive the following warning. "SELECTED ID is from type TYPE_DEVICE_MANUFACTURER" The submit Submit still works, but the selected device manufacturer is not transferred.

Appnexus Xandr and Adswizz allow the user to simply target just a view options (Please, see the screenshots from the adserver UI below.)
By importing the 3.5.5.2 Import Geo- and Technical Targeting Data ADvendio will add those options to the targeting tree: ID Category = "Devices", Type = "Device Type". The additinally The additionally imported Device Category DESKTOP, DIGITAL, MOBILE and OTHER from Adswizz will also be available. The selectable options are shown on all ADvendio PDF documents and will be used while booking and forecasting.

As ADvendio offers the possibility to either include or exclude, you can use this full flexibility to be transferred to the AdServer. This means, if you want to target only Desktop and Tablet Devices, you can either select the + symbol on Desktop and Tablet, or simply click the - symbol on Phones. Both will have the same result in the AdServer. |
