Customers using Adswizz Integration of ADvendio must install 2.161 version. Adswizz API Domain is updated to the newest version v7 with the release of 2.161. All earlier ADvendio versions have older Adswizz API which will be deprecated by the end of 2022. This means Adswizz features will not be working with old API. Please contact ADvendio if there is any issue to install 2.161.

2. Advertiser

The Advertiser will be set according to the Advertiser set in the Media campaign in ADvendio.

If the Advertiser is mapped to an existing Advertiser in AdsWizz this Advertiser will be set in the Campaign.

When the Advertiser set in ADvendio does not exist in AdsWizz the system will create a new one. The fields below will be set when creating the new Advertiser.

Please keep in mind to comply with the following format for the Website (Advertiser domain in AdsWizz): "www.advendio.com".

It would not work with "https://www.advendio.com".

3. Create Orders from ADvendio with Submit to AdServer

With version 2.162 we enhanced our Submit to AdServer feature for Adswizz so that our customers are able to push Orders based on their Media Campaigns into Adswizz.

Details:

  • Every Media Campaign created in ADvendio will be converted into an Order in Adswizz.

  • Every Media Campaign Item created in ADvendio will be converted into a Campaign in Adswizz.

  • Only two budget types are allowed for a Media Campaign: Impressions and Price.

4. Ad Duration for "dummy" Ads

ADvendio always creates "dummy" ads for each campaign item in Adswizz. You can however influence the ad duration you want to use. This ​does have an impact on your forecasting results.

To set the duration of an ad in seconds please use the field Ad Duration which is available at the Campaign Item and Ad Spec:


When you submit an Item to Adswizz and create a new Campaign, the duration will only be submitted once. When you update an existing Campaign from ADvendio, the initial duration value will remain in the dummy ad.

The Campaign Item status will be synced each time the delivery data import is running (AdServer →  ADvendio). See our information on how to schedule delivery reports from ADvendio here.

Please note that only data that is maximum 3 years old will be imported back to ADvendio.
