Version | 2.171 |
---|---|
Integration | Google Ads, Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest, Amazon DSP |
What will change?
Security is of the highest importance to us and this includes also third-party integrations
In compliance with Salesforce Security standards, we’re updating how Authentication Credentials are stored in ADvendio, this includes AccessTokens provided by third-party systems
Why are we doing this?
We aim to make sure ADvendio can safely store and build connections to third-party platforms without exposing unwanted information and meeting the Standards of Salesforce security for its platform and apps.
The encryption of Access Credentials in the Salesforce Data model helps to protect sensible information and still have them available for ADvendio integration processes to work.
What do you have to do?
After the Installation of the 2.171 release, you will need to regenerate the AccessTokens in ADvendio.
To do so you can check the pages of the individual integrations and refer to the Generate an OAuth token sections.
The integrations that are affected are:
Google Ads: [Set up connection] in Google Ads
Linkedin: [Set up connection] in Linkedin
Pinterest: [Set up connection] in Pinterest
Amazon DSP: [Set up connection] in Amazon DSP Pilot
If you do not follow this step, the integrations won’t work and will always show an error message.
Setup
