Clicking the plus symbol, selects a product for planning. You can view your selection in ‘My selected products’
Â
Once done, you can view your selected products and click the next button to proceed to the follow up steps. What comes next, might depend on your individual flow.
Requirements
The Campaign Planning Recommendations do not have a strict validation for a number of Media Campaigns, but the results will be more helpful, the more successfully planned Campaigns with Campaign Items you have in your Org.
How to Set Up
1. Installation and Configuration
Install the Managed Package: Obtain the installation link and follow the provided instructions to install the package into your Salesforce org.
Run Data Connectors: Ensure data connectors are configured to sync and prepare sales and campaign data.
2. Running the Recipe
Navigate to the CRM Analytics Data Manager in Salesforce.
Go to Recipes and run: Campaign Planning Recommendations Campaign Clustering Recipe
Schedule Data sync: To update your recommendations with the most recent business data, we recommend to schedule a data sync of the connector and recipe. Since the data for recommendations might not be as dynamic as for other recommendations, you can start with a weekly or even a monthly sync to update your data.
Â
3. Configuring the Salesforce Flow Component and set up a custom Flow
Now to make the recommendations accessible for your end users, you need to create a custom flow and use our Campaign Planning Recommendations component.
We recommend creating a new screen flow.
Once you are at the desired step, you can drag our component directly into your screen. It can be found in the list of custom components to the left.
Â
In order to run, the recommendations require a Media Campaign Record ID as input variable. The ‘products’ that were selected from recommendations, will be returned as Ad Price ID collection. For this open the advanced settings and check: Manually Assign Variable
Â
Create your Campaign: You can now use these Ad Price IDs, in order to generate the desired campaign. These can either be used to create Media Basket Records for your Media Campaign or you can use them as base to directly create Campaign Item Records, with your desired settings.
Additional Notes
CRM Analytics Plus licenses are required for full functionality, including dynamic recommendations and dataset generation.
Without these licenses, users can access limited functionalities, such as read-only recommendations.
