Gateway version update announcement August 2023
in order to improve the overall performance and stability of our Gateway we are announcing a deprecation of Gateway Version support in ADvendio soon. This will impact all customers of the Connections Module, please follow the steps to prevent impact on your business processes.
What is happening?
We will be deactivating older versions of our ADvendio Gateway by November 30th. The ADvendio Gateway is our Service, responsible of handling the direct communication between ADvendio and Third Party Platforms for our Integrations. Usually our Gateway has it’s own version number, related to the ADvendio Package Version number (e.g. 2.165).
Once we deprecated the legacy Gateway Versions, the ADvendio Package with the related version number (All ADvendio Versions below 2.165), will not be able to use any of the third party integrations from the ADvendio Connections Module. This includes bookings to AdServers, Delivery Reports, Media Buying submits and more, for all our integrations (like Google AdManager, Xandr, Facebook ect.). It also affects the Programmatic Add-On and the related integrations.
The change will not affect any custom integrations done by yourself, as well as Salesforce only features, like most of our Campaigns and Finance features.
Why are we doing this?
We are doing this step to make sure our integration services will run as smoothly and stable as you are expecting. But updating your ADvendio to a more recent Version also has lots of benefits for you as a customer. You can enjoy the newest features and updates and make sure that the Third Party APIs our integrations are using, are on the latest versions. Also should a problem occur, our team will be able to provide you smoother and quicker support, if you are operating on the most recent ADvendio Version.
What do you need to do?
In order to prevent any negative impact on your business and the ADvendio Third Party Integrations, please follow the steps advised below and make sure you are running at least ADvendio Version 2.165 by November 30th 2023.

We'd like to clarify some recent communications regarding the ADvendio Gateway Version update. Our sincerest apologies for any confusion.
Clarifications:
Manually updating the Gateway Version via Salesforce Setup could disrupt the functionality of ADvendio Connections and interfere with future updates.
To ensure optimal functionality of Third Party Integrations and ADvendio Connection features, please upgrade to Release Version 2.165.
Recognizing the importance of a smooth transition, we've extended the deadline. Please migrate to Version 2.165 by November 30th. After this date, ADvendio Integrations will become inoperative.
Action Steps:
If you've manually changed the Gateway Version, please undo this by deleting all custom translations of the label in Salesforce.
Install ADvendio 2.165 (or a later version) using our step-by-step guide.
Affected ADvendio versions
All ADvendio Versions previous to 2.165. Only features using our Third Party Integrations of the Connections module are affected. Other functionalities from the Campaigns and Finance module, such as the Campaign Builder, remain unaffected.
