8.13.1 Installation Guide
Installing the Package Extension required at least ADvendio Version 2.170. The installation process is the same as for other managed packages.
What is required?
The Target Org needs to have CRM Analytics features activated, else the installation fails.
The successful installation of the individual apps, might require a specific number of records.
For Version 1.0 this is:
Media Campaign Prediction: at least 400 Media Campaign Records
Budget Optimization: At least 20 Campaign Items and Buying Items which are currently running (end date in future). Please activate Revenue Schedule Daily feature and if there is trouble, create at least 20 Buy Data records underneath one Buying Item
The installation of the extension package will work, even if individual requirements are not met. The Analytics Apps, which are auto installed, will however not be set up.
Before Installation
Before running the installation, please set up a Salesforce Connector in your CRM Analytics → Data Manager
Use the name “SFDC_LOCAL”. If you already have set this up, make sure the correct objects for our Addon are included.
After creating, make sure the required Objects are included, so that installation will fail without issue:
Account
Task
Event
Media Campaign
Campaign Item
Revenue Schedule Daily
Buying Order
Buying Item
Buy Data
Steps after installation:
After Installation is successful, it should automatically create the Analytics Apps for our features. The individual features will require additional configuration, to make them fully accessible to your users. Please check the Key Feature pages for detailed steps:
8.13.3 Media Campaign Predictions + Sales Automations
8.13.4 Cross Platform Budget Optimizations
If you open Analytics Studio, you should be able to find the apps of the AI Addon, created by 'automated process'.
If an app is missing, it could be the automatic post installation setup has failed.
You can review in Setup → Feature Settings → Analytics → Apps → Auto-Installed Apps
the installation status of the apps and a log, if something went wrong.
By clicking the Requests tab and the dropdown on the right, you can view the error log and also click Try-Again to reinstall apps that failed.
