7.1.1.2 Update ADvendio
Our team is dedicated to improving the optimization of ADvendio to simplify your daily tasks and enhance your productivity. To take advantage of new features and enhancements, we have provided an updated guide to help you use the latest version of ADvendio software.
You can find the installation links in the Release Notes. Please ensure always to use the latest version. To install, simply click on the link in your browser and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can install ADvendio using the Salesforce AppExchange.
Steps to Update ADvendio release version:
1. Login to Salesforce
Enter your Salesforce User Name.
Enter your Password.
Log in to Salesforce to proceed with the installation.
2. Release link
You can always find the installation links in our Release Notes. Be sure to use the latest version and proceed with the installation as directed.
3. Install the new Package
In this step, you will be able to view the package details such as the app name, publisher, version name and number. The package components like pages, tabs, objects or fields can also be seen below the description.
Please ensure that the "Install for All Users" option is selected before proceeding.
Click on the "Install" button to complete the installation process.
When installing ADvendio, selecting the Install for All Users option will make sure that all ADvendio objects and permissions are available for your profiles. It's usually the best choice for most customers. However, if you're already using ADvendio, planning to update to a new version, and using very specific user profiles, you may want to check out this article 7.1.3.3 Profiles - Access and Object Permissions for more information on how profiles and permissions are set during updates.
4. Grant Access Rights to Package

Please wait, until the installation process is completed.
5. Processing
You will be notified by email when ADvendio is installed successfully. Please click the Done button.
6. Compare Versions
You can check in Setup > Installed Packages if the latest version is installed.
Usually, to be able to use new features, you have to implement them after the update. If you click on the tab release notes you find descriptions of what the new features do and how you can implement them.
