4.19.1.2 How to fix editing errors for customers without ADvendio ONE license

Challenge:

Users who do not have the ADvendio ONE license may encounter an error while editing buying orders or item objects.

Solution:

 

To resolve this issue and use Salesforce's standard logic with the Media Buying extension you can use the no override option in the setup object manager for BuyingOrder and BuyingItem.

Please follow the steps below to update the New and Edit buttons in Salesforce:

  1. Go to Setup and access Object Manager.

  2. Select Buying Order or Buying Item, depending on your requirements.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click on Buttons, Links, and Actions.

  4. Under Buttons, Links, and Actions, search for the Edit option (BuyingOrder or BuyingItem (Lightning component)).

  5. From the right-hand drop-down, choose Edit.

  6. In the new window that opens:

    • For Salesforce Classic Override, select No override (use default).

    • For the Lightning Experience Override option, choose Use the Salesforce Classic override.

  7. Save your changes.

  8. Repeat the same process for the New button and Save your changes.

Following these steps will enable you to work with the Media Buying extension using Salesforce's standard logic, resolving the issue.
