7.3.12.1 [Integration Overview] of AdsWizz
ADvendio is supporting the AdsWizz Ad Server integration.
1.1. Who will benefit from this integration?
Adswizz integration with other systems can benefit multiple users, including publishers, advertisers, and ad agencies. Adswizz features can help customers manage and optimize campaigns across various publishers and platforms. They can also provide detailed reporting and analytics to their clients.
1.2. What is required to use the integration?
Adswizz as an Ad Server integration, is covered by ADvendio Connect and ADvendio One licence for Ad Server integration.
1.3. How to set up and use the integration?
To find out more about our integration, have a look at the following pages:

1.4. Known Issues and Limitations
ISP Targeting does not support exclusion: As of right now, ISP targeting works as include only. If in the ADvendio UI you select to exclude certain ISP criteria, they will still be included. A fix for this is currently scheduled for our November 2025 release
Canadian Geo Targeting is not working: As of right now, due to API limitations, we do not support using Canadian Geo Targeting in our ADvendio Adswizz Integration. If you are interested in using this feature, please contact our team so we can evaluate potential solutions together with Adswizz.
Breaking changes
API UPDATE
Domain API update from v7 to v8
Forecasting API update from v2.0 to v3.0
Versions that have this update:
2.175.11 >
2.177.9 >
2.178.6 >
2.179 > (and all the following ones after this)
An important breaking change affects the Adswizz Device Type Dimension, which requires you to take action to ensure your Campaigns that have this type of targeting configured continue to run smoothly. This could also affect the Forecast and Enhanced Delivery Date if no action is taken.
This change will take effect on September 24th, 2025, however.
Adswizz recently updated the keys and values for device types between versions 7 and 8. This means the way ADvendio imports and sends device information has changed.

Your Action Plan
To ensure a smooth transition, please follow these steps:
Identify Affected Campaigns
If you’re unsure which Campaigns contain Device Type targeting you can create a report in Adswizz to identify all Campaigns that use the Device Targeting → Device Type dimension. This will show you which Campaigns need updating.
Install the Required API Version
Install version 2.175.10, 2.177.9, or 2.178.5 of ADvendio.
Update Your Connection IDs
Navigate to your Adswizz connection and import the new 'Devices' Type Connection IDs.
In your affected campaigns, go to Campaign Item Device Targeting → Device type targeting.
Assign the new Connection IDs and unselect the old ones.
Submit and Verify
Submit the updated Campaigns to the Adserver.
Verify that the changes were correctly updated in Adswizz.
5. Check if there is targeting configured in any of the following features; Connection Id Ad Spec Assignment, Connection Id Ad Price Assignment, Targeting Sets, Targeting Set Ad Type Assignments and Targeting Groups
Deactivate Old IDs
Once all affected Campaigns are updated, you can deactivate the old Connection IDs:
Mobiles and Tablets
Desktops and Laptops
Digital Appliances
