How the Filters Work
The "Campaign Start Date" and "Campaign End Date" filters work together to define a specific date range. Their purpose is to identify and display any Media Campaigns that have at least one day of their runtime falling within this specified range.
Key Principle: If any portion (even a single day) of a Media Campaign's overall duration overlaps with the filter's date range, that campaign will be included in the results table.
Example Scenario
Let's illustrate with a common example:
Filter Settings:
Campaign Start Date: June 1st
Campaign End Date: July 19th
Example Media Campaign:
This campaign runs from April 6th to August 16th.
Result: Despite starting before June 1st and ending after July 19th, this Media Campaign will appear in your results.
Explanation: The filter range (June 1st to July 19th) covers a significant portion of this media campaign's runtime. Because there's an overlap (June 1st through July 19th falls within April 6th to August 16th), the campaign is considered relevant and included in the results.
