BREAKING CHANGE: To improve handling of Key Values and Audience Segments, we have split buttons to own columns in the Media Configuration. Additionally, you can also configure which are accessible via Tab Rules, giving you complete control.

By installing this version your current settings will be taken to the new logic, taking key values and audience segments into your tab setup and hiding the AdServer targeting field with a tab rule.

Please keep in mind that for an activated admin setting "filter for active records" you will need to activate your rate cards with the new checkbox in order to select them in the media search and other wizards. Also if you have set valid from and valid until dates for your ad prices you won't see historical prices anymore.

Security has always been a number one topic for us. In order to improve the protection of your data and also meet the high standards of the Salesforce Platform, we’re introducing several improvements including:

• Confirmation modals - users will need to confirm certain actions where records will be created/altered and saved to the database. These confirmation modals have been added at the following points

  • Preinvoices creation on Media Campaign level

  • Update Delivered Quantity on Invoice

  • Invoice Item cancellation

  • Legal Entity Number generation

  • Create/update Position Numbers

  • Send an email with PDF as attachment

  • Create visit report from existing event

  • Update AdScript status

  • Set sharing settings for Media Campaigns

  • Send Approval Email to contact with script PDF or Ad Attachment

• license checks - users will need to confirm that a license check can take place. Every 7 days a license check is carried out to ensure the customer has the license for the feature they are trying to use. This model shows at the following points

  • using any feature that requires a license check where it has been more than 7 days since the last check

• Login credentials and access tokens will now be stored encrypted within ADvendio. This way you won’t need to store your passwords as plain text in ADvendio, making them potentially be accessible to all your Salesforce Users.

• Delivery Reports and Programmatic Imports don’t require the entering of Salesforce user credentials anymore. This way you won’t have to store your Admins Salesforce login within an ADvendio feature anymore, preventing all other users from having access to this information.

New Feature

Subscription

As part of our newly introduced Subscription feature, you can now update running Subscription contracts. This means that users can now end running assignments prematurely, as well as add new assignments, in order to upgrade or downgrade according to your customers needs.

Additionally, automated Subscriptions renewal is now in place. Contracts can be created with a cancellation period and/or whether or not they are valid for renewal. Automated processes run to seamlessly renewal and roll your subscriptions without the need for any manual intervention.
