Solution

How do you set up the connection to Linkedin in ADvendio?

In order to start using the ADvendio Linkedin Integration, you will need to set up a new record of type “LinkedIn”. Please, follow the steps below:

  • In the main ADvendio menu type “AdServer Interface”

  • Click on the “Connections“ tab

  • Create a new connection record by selecting the option “New”

  • Select “Linkedin” as a new record type

  • A window “New connection: LINKEDIN” will open, enter data in the field “User Name” (mandatory) and fill in all the rest information (if necessary), and press Save. It will create a new connection.

  • Open the new Connection record you just created

  • In the right upper corner Click “Generate AdServer OAuth Token”

  • After your Linkedin username pops up, click Submit

  • Under “Generate Authorization Code you will see “Link to Ad Server”

  • Log into Linkedin, accept the authentication as shown in the screenshot below

  • Copy the token authorization code and paste it into the ADvendio field

Data to import from Linkedin

Once the authentication token is obtained and the Linkedin Connection is established, as a next step we would strongly recommend using the Transfer to ADvendio feature to import Linkedin data into ADvendio for smooth media advertising and buying activities.

By using this feature you can select the information you want to import in ADvendio

  • Import Account → Advertiser

  • Import Key Value → Key / Value
