Challenge

This page focuses on the following settings:

  • Order Goals

  • Which Optimization Strategy Settings are valid for Facebook

  • Which Bid Strategy settings are valid in ADvendio for Facebook

Following Facebook ad campaign settings could be edited:

  • Campaign Name: Rename your campaign.

  • Campaign Spending Limit: Update or set a spending limit.

  • Campaign Budget Optimization: You can turn Campaign Budget Optimization on or off. When turning it on you're combining the remaining budget of your active ad sets into a single campaign budget. To turn on campaign budget optimization, the campaign and all ad sets in it must be published. Changes may take up to 15 minutes to take effect and you'll need to wait 2 hours to turn it off again.

  • You cannot change your campaign objective.

  • Editing certain details of your campaign may restart the learning phase or trigger the ad review system to re-review your ad.

Setup

There is no specific feature setup needed, however depending on the fields you want to use, your System Administrator might:

  • need to add/edit profile permissions

  • add fields to page layouts

  • adjust picklist values, add new and/or remove existing ones, so that only the possible values (as listed above) are usable

Update Picklist Field Values

We would recommend removing picklist values you don’t need for your business. It would be a good practice to create dependent picklist settings to make the life of your users easier.

It might be that you can’t find specific values for fields like Goal KPI in your ADvendio environment. In this case, you have to update those in your Salesforce Setup manually.

Make sure to match the terms here with the API value of your picklist values. If you want, you can change the label to your desired terms, as long as the API value matches those expected by ADvendio.

In order to change the picklist fields in Salesforce, you need to go to the setup and either edit the fields on the Buying Campaign, Buying Order and Buying Item object directly or you need to navigate to the Picklist Value Sets.
