4.3.4.9 Industry Targeting

Industry targeting can be handled similarly to any other AdServer Id based targeting. If your administrator has added this to a tab (in the example below the content tab). It uses the selection tree and filters to show AdServer IDs of type__c: "Industry" and "Industry Group".

When you click on Edit the editor opens and lets you select industries or industry groups either in the

• tree tab or you can use the

• the search tab to find items faster:

After clicking Save, it creates a record in Selected AdServer IDs and displays the industries on your PDFs similar to all other AdServer targeting. The value will be pushed as an exclusion of industries from an ADvendio Campaign Item to the placement in FreeWheel. 

View preconfigured Targeting Criteria from the product (Ad Spec)

In some cases (especially for Inventory Targeting) your want to preconfigure targeting criteria on your product (Ad Spec) which will automatically be used, no matter what is set on your Campaign Item. With Version 2.115 we enhanced our Media Configuration overview, to already see what has been predefined for your Campaign Item, with a new AdSpec Button.
