4.20.5 Net Calculator in Campaign Builder

How to Access the Net Calculator through Campaign Builder

Previously, the 4.5 Net Calculator was available as a standalone tool.

Now to access the Net Calculator tab through your Campaign Builder, follow these steps:

1. Open your Media Campaign in the App launcher

2. Access the Campaign Builder view (through the Media Search button or the Add Items / Change Items buttons of your Campaign Items via the Related list).

3. On the top right of the Campaign Builder, you will see the Net Calculator tab.

Possible Net Calculator Columns

You might see the following columns on your Net Calculator:

• Quantity

• Special Discount

• Amount net/net

• eCPM

• eCPC

• Target Net

• Budget N2

Customizable Fields for Accurate Billing in the Net Calculator

To get an accurate calculation in Net Calculator, you can fill in the following fields based on your billing category.

These fields include Target Net and Budget N2.

Target Net

The Target Net amount will represent the final eCPM or eCPC sum that you need to achieve. Once you have added a value, the system will then modify the special discount.

Budget N2

The Budget N2 feature works for the following billing categories:

• CPM

• CPC

• CPD

• CPW

• CPMo

• CPY

• fixed price

If you enter a budget amount of Budget N2 the system will then modify the quantity (for CPM, CPC, vCPM items) or special discount (for Fixed Price, CPD, CPW, CPMo, CPY) to align with the goal Amount Net/Net. Please note that the goal amounts will be removed upon save.

Setup

To create a Net calculator tab in your Campaign Builder please adjust your Item Configuration settings by creating a new tab and adding all the relevant fields 7.2.23.1 Setup of the Campaign Builder Structure.
