Why is the custom JavaScript not working

Issue:

There may be a case where your Custom JavaScript (CJS) is not working as expected and this page may help with an initial check to make for a quick resolution.

Solution:

In the Adminsiattrion Settings, we can find the URL for the CJS entered under the label 'ModifyCampaignItems JavaScript Extension'.

This will need to match the URL which is entered in the setup under the tab ‘Static Resources’. Here there will be an item named MediaConfigCJS.

Here you will need to use the button 'View File' which will open the CJS in a new tab where the URL can be seen.

The URL will need to be the exact URL entered in the Administration Settings in order for the CJS to work as expected. This issue may arise if the entered URL for your production CJS is different to what is set in the sandbox and therefore it will not match and not work as expected.
